Just as Judah was named the Lion in Genesis 49:9, his descendant and our Lord Jesus Christ fulfilled his prophetic role as the Lion of Judah. He conquered sin and death as the Lion of Judah and Descendant Root of David, and will rule on David’s throne forever. Use this imagery to provide others hope, as we know from this final book of Revelation that we most certainly win in the end. The battle has been won for us, we just have to go out into the world and fight it.
